  7. This ARexx script extracts the servers from the mIRC´s servers.ini file and adds
  8. them to the servers in the AmIRC's *.AmIRCfg file. The old *.AmIRCfg file is
  9. backed up to *.AmIRCfg.bak. The conversion process preserves all the information
  10. from the original file including the server name, address, ports, password and
  11. grouping. Nothing gets lost.

  13. To use the script just put it anywhere on your hard disk. You need the RexxMast
  14. running and the rexxsupport.library available in your LIBS: drawer. Both of them
  15. should be already installed along with the OS.

  17. Usage: Type 'rx mIRCtoAmIRCservers.rexx <source_file> <destination_file>'
  18. in the shell (without the quotes) where <source_file> is the mIRC's servers.ini
  19. filename and <destination_file> is AmIRC's *.AmIRCfg filename (both with the
  20. complete path or relative to your current directory).

  22. The script is released as freeware. You may distribute it freely as long as you
  23. keep it unchanged. If you want to distribute a modified version or to use parts
  24. of the script in your own script, you should contact me first.
